Since opening our first site, we’ve grown into a city institution – a collection of warm, unhurried bakeries where quality and craft are never compromised. Everything we make starts with time. Our sourdough loaves are long-fermented over many hours, developing depth of flavour that you simply can’t rush. Alongside the bread, you’ll find buttery croissants, seasonal pastries, incredible sandwiches, and bakes that shift with what’s at its best. We work with carefully chosen British suppliers and let honest ingredients do the talking.

Tucked into the sun-drenched courtyard of Neal’s Yard, Sourdough Sophia’s Covent Garden bakery is a little corner of calm in one of London’s most vibrant neighbourhoods. Neal’s Yard feels like a world apart from the bustle of the market – colourful shopfronts, outdoor tables, and the kind of place you stumble into and decide to stay a while. It’s the perfect setting for us. Expect everything Sourdough Sophia is known for: long-fermented sourdough loaves, freshly baked croissants and innovative seasonal pastries, the breakfast cruffins and incredible lunchtime creations our regulars come early to claim, and excellent espresso and filter coffee served all day.
