Snowfall has returned to the West Piazza this December. Experience daily flurries for free added magic to your Covent Garden visit. Snowfalls begin from midday and run on the hour, every hour for 2 minutes in front of the Christmas Tree and Ladurée.

In celebration of the final day of snowfall on 31st December, join us until midnight when our final flurry will see in the new year. Extending our snowfall from midday through to midnight for one day only.

12pm - 9pm on the hour daily throughout December

This year we celebrated the launch in partnership with ballerinas from The Royal Ballet School who are performing as Snowflakes in The Nutcracker at The Royal Ballet and Opera House.

In 2026, The Royal Ballet School celebrates 100 years of nurturing the next generation. With a legacy built on excellence, and a future focused on expanding opportunity and access, the School remains at the forefront of shaping the next century of classical ballet. Keep an eye out for their year-long celebrations to be a part of this historic milestone.
